Exciting News for – Mussolini’s Chicken🎬🎶

We’re thrilled to share that our forthcoming feature documentary, Mussolini’s Chicken has been selected for the VIFF Composer Filmmaker Accelerator, a unique program connecting filmmakers with composers and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.

Our director, Alex Bezeau, is working alongside a composer and the VSO to explore new musical possibilities for a pivotal scene in the film. Three composers are creating their own interpretations of the same sequence — and we’ve already begun hearing some of the early scores. They’ve been phenomenal.

Music is an important part of the emotional language of Mussolini’s Chicken, so this has been an incredible opportunity to explore what the score can bring to the story.

The film is now in its fine cut, and as we begin preparing for its festival journey, we’re excited to have this final creative chapter unfolding alongside it.
