A few moments from Alex’s time with the VIFF Composer Filmmaker Accelerator!

Alex had the opportunity to work with composers Rachel McFarlane, Karan Viegas, and Claire Cowan, alongside the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, as part of this intensive program bringing filmmakers and composers together to explore the art of film scoring.

From collaborating on scoring the scene, to the recording studio and the showcase, it was incredible to hear how music can transform a scene and deepen its emotional impact. We’re so grateful to VIFF, Miriam Cutler and everyone involved for creating this opportunity — and to Rachel, Karan, and Claire for the thought, creativity and talent they brought to the process.
